Plague War Previews: Water Dragon’s Guidence

Previews of L5R’s Plague War expansiond have begun. Today’s is Water Dragon’s Guidence. I see this being played in almost every deck as both another Armor of Ryu and meta against the same. Make a card slot available everyone.
I edited this because I completely misread the card. I was so embarrassed that I failed to do any further preview commentary. Or at least that’s my excuse.

Storeless

Not having a local gaming store is to a gamer like not have a yarn store to a knitter or a hardware store to a handyman.  Sure, we can buy games online or at other stores but it’s just not that same as having a local favorite gaming store.

What fun is is it to buy a game and not have a group of people huddled around as you tear into it and ready the instructions – hoping to get in a few games before closing time? The local gaming store is a great resource for finding new, good games to play. What games can’t the store keep on the shelves? That’s the one you really want to get your hands on!

Also a gaming store is just a great place to hang out. There always seems to be someone there doing something(playing a game, sorting cards) that is much more interesting that doing nothing – you know what you were doing at home before you decided to run down to the local store.

It’s also bittersweet to visit other gaming stores as it’s great to see and touch all the merchandise but sad knowing that you will not be able to visit again for quite some time.

Being storeless is no fun.  The local game store isn’t just a place to buy stuff but it’s a gathering place.  For those who have a local gaming store, give the owner a big hug and buy an extra pack or two of cards.
